DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end close and reporting process.
  • Prepare journal entries for various accounting cycles, including but not limited to employee reimbursable expenses, accruals, prepaids and Fixed Assets.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts, prepare adjusting journal entries as needed, and maintain complete and accurate documentation of the reconciliations.
  • Work closely with accounting team to identify and drive changes regarding system automation and streamlining the processes.
  • Monthly cost allocation and recharge on cost plus basis to various Lines of Business (LoB) in CRE, RRE, Technology and support functions basis determined allocation methods
  • Ensure complete control on numbers and a tie up to monthly invoices and keep a sound control on spreadsheet including formulae, links, advanced functions;
  • Ensure review and obtain approval of the allocation file by hierarchy levels;
  • Produce individual files and send to point of contacts in onshore for CRE, RRE, Support and Tech functions by BD 4;
  • Ensure deliverables are met on BD 4 of the month with no exceptions;
  • Liaise with Operations and HR Teams to have report on Head Counts on BD 1;
  • Liaise with Accounting team to obtain invoices and supporting spreadsheets on last day of the month to enable commencing allocation task on BD 1;
  • Owning the complete process and strategize the allocations month on month basis with robust planning in close;
  • Plan, document, develop and devise methods on improving the productivity and best practices to produce the file in least possible time with no leeway for controls coupled with continual improvements
  • Assist with various ongoing projects as necessary.


SKILL SETS REQUIRED:

  • Candidates with atleast 6 years of experience in F&A function and has a solid analytical understanding and strong grip on numbers;
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite - Advanced Excel skills including Macros, Access, Visual Basic, Word and Power Point
  • Strong ability to create and automate reports based on key parameters.
  • High attention to detail;
  • Must have an analytical bent of mind;
  • Should have good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Should be able to build tools with high scalability and agility;
  • Excellent PC skills and level of proficiency in Microsoft products.


QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s, CA Inter & MBA Finance in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience highly preferred.
  • The qualified candidate would be a self-starter, team player and possess an accounting/finance background with 5+years of experience.
  • Strong analytical ability, good judgment, strategic and multidimensional thinker.
  • Detail oriented and organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork, punctual, dependable and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Experience with Workday software is a plus.
  • Strong commitment and dedication to the position and a Team Player.
  • Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
1.00 - 1.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
