Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and accounting practices, coupled with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. This is a full-time position requiring 7 to 10 years of work experience in accounting roles.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in Financial Reporting (Mandatory skill)
• Proficiency in Budgeting, with the ability to create and manage financial plans effectively
• Strong Financial Analysis skills to interpret financial data and provide insights
• Expertise in Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Proficiency in Tax Preparation, ensuring compliance with local and national tax regulations
• Experience in conducting Audits to evaluate financial health and adherence to policies
• Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification is required for this role

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights
• Oversee account reconciliation processes to maintain accurate financial records
• Ensure timely and compliant tax preparation and filings
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any issues or discrepancies
• Maintain and enhance financial controls and procedures, ensuring adherence to GAAP
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and guidance
