Plant Financial Controller

Purpose of the position: Accounting & Reporting Function

Grade: Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager

Essential Qualification: Chartered Accountant/ Cost accountant

Experience: 12-18 Years

Roles and Responsibility

• Plant Finance and accounting process including Product costing, Inventory, COGS
• Plant controls, vendor reconciliation Process.
• Support AOP/ Scenario building /Forecasting process in the Organization
• Provide and gather accurate operational information to deliver target and latest forecast processes.
• Work with Plant team and Procurement team on all the cost line items.
• Own the Product cost sheet
• Lead the Monthly / Quarterly (Plan Vs Actual) review process for Operations and drive actionable.
• Perform day-to-day accounting operations & implement & monitor processes with respect Fixed Assets, AP, GL Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Ensuring all the compliances w.r.t. TDS, TCS, professional tax, GST, regulatory payments, other contractual payments and agreements
• Running the monthly closing process and providing monthly financial statements
• Submission of monthly stock statements and other financial reporting data
• Coordinating with external financial, compliance and tax auditors
• ERP exposure (SAP)
• Export oriented manufacturing industry, preference from food industry
• Hands on experience on Excel, Power BI etc

Requisite skills:

Functional:

• Advanced degree in Accounting - CA
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating Financial Statements
• Plant operations and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user ERP - SAP and administration skills
