Department: Tax
Position Overview: The US Tax Intern will support the Tax department in various tasks related
to US tax compliance, reporting, and research. This is an excellent opportunity for someone
interested in pursuing a career in tax and accounting to gain hands-on experience and learn
from seasoned professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns.
• Support the team in compiling US tax-related data and documentation.
• Help with the analysis of financial statements and tax implications of various
transactions.
• Conduct research on US tax laws, regulations, and policies.
• Participate in tax planning and compliance projects.
• Assist in the preparation of US tax provision calculations and supporting schedules.
• Help with the maintenance of US tax records and documentation.
• Support the team with ad-hoc US tax-related tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in US Accounting, US Finance, US Taxation,
or a related field.
• Strong academic performance with a focus on US tax and accounting courses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of US tax concepts and principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with US tax preparation software
• Prior internship or work experience in tax or accounting (preferred but not required
