Role:
The Finance Controller at Onsurity plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Receivables, Payables, GL and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances to the management
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Ensure timely management of compliance and preparation of regulatory reporting and filings
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal financial controls
• Effective and timely completion of statutory & internal audits
• Automation of internal team processes and drive efficiency within the team operations
• Additional controller duties as necessary
Requirements and skills:
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
• 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• CA is a must
• Experience in Insurance Industry, Health Care or Wellness
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures including IND AS
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
