Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Kochi. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, preparing tax returns, conducting audits, and providing financial analysis and advice to clients. Additionally, this position requires the individual to have managerial experience, as the Senior Accountant will lead a small team of 4-5 members, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting activities, including financial reporting and tax return preparation.
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Provide financial analysis and advisory services to clients.
- Lead and mentor a small team (4-5 members), ensuring effective team collaboration and productivity.
- Review the work of team members and ensure accuracy and quality.
- Report directly to the Operations Manager, providing updates and insights on team performance and project status.
- Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Financial Reporting, Taxation, and Auditing skills.
- Well-experienced in the finalization of financial statements (FS), Goods and Services Tax (GST), Income Tax, and TDS filing.
- Experience in preparing tax returns and conducting audits.
- Strong financial analysis and advisory skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Experience in managing or leading a small team is a must, with the ability to guide and motivate staff.
- ACCA Affiliate or CA Intermediate certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
