The Accounting Analyst 1 will be responsible for accounting, managing and analyzing a VTSC accounting/financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulation. Support all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting:
o Support/Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards in US-GAAP.
o Manage the general ledger and oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
o Preparation & accounting intercompany billing transactions within Visteon
o Ensure timely submission of financial reports to management and stakeholders.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting:
o Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
o Monitor and analyze financial performance against Budgets/Forecast.
o Provide variance analysis and suggest corrective actions to meet financial targets.
3. Capital Expenditure:
o Optimize the capital structure and make recommendations for financing strategies, which analyzing each Capex Spend (PAR).
o Preparation of Capex budget/forecast and periodic variance analysis against Budget/Forecast.
4. Internal Controls & Compliance:
o Establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and safeguard company assets.
o Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including tax filings.
o Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and MBA/M.com/Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (US-GAAP and I-GAAP), financial statements, and reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (e.g., SAP, QAD, Power-Bi, Etc).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
