As a Forensic Accounting Manager, you will be a key player in enabling Kelly+Partners next phase of growth. The successful applicant will become an integral part of the broader team and will be exposed to a variety of clients and the opportunity to learn in a public practice environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain records for firm and firms clients.
- Managing multiple concurrent assignments.
- Prepare and execute work plans for forensic accounting investigations including fraud and damage investigations.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flows, and other statements.
- Performs and reviews forensic research to trace funds and identify assets and sources of funds.
- Conducts and reviews forensic analysis of financial data.
- Read, interpret, and summarize depositions, complaints, interrogatories, and other court-related filings.
- Analyze financial statements, damage models and other accounting and financial related documents.
- Write reports memorializing findings and opinions.
- Prepares analytical data for litigation, business valuations, and forensic audits.
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements and adhering to professional standards.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Create and modify templates, systems, and protocols for streamlining case management.
- Update, maintain, and enforce office policies and procedures.
- Perform online research for firm and clients.
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company forensics and consulting procedures.
- Supervise, train, develop, and direct staff inclusive of monitoring budgets on client engagements.
- Providing regular feedback and direction to staff ensuring workpapers are consistently formatted and appropriately named and organized.
- Monitor and review billable time and assist in preparing invoices.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- 7+ years of professional experience including 5+ years of experience in forensic accounting and litigation
- Familiarity with the general commercial litigation process
- CPA licensure (completed)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- CFE, ABV, CFF, MAFF or CMA credential
