Our client is looking for a leader for their Manufacturing plant to not only lead costing and inventory accounting, but assist the CFO with general accounting as well.

Client Details

Our client is fast growing food manufacturer with multiple locations across the LA area.

Description

Financial Close: Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to GAAP.

FP&A: Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing actionable insights to leadership.

Cost Accounting: Manage standard costing, inventory control, and operational efficiency metrics to drive cost savings and profitability.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed financial statements and reports for both internal and external stakeholders, including private equity partners.

Internal Controls: Maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy across financial operations.

Collaboration: Partner with plant and company leadership to support strategic initiatives and improve operational performance.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or plant
  • operations.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial close processes, and FP&A.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed environment is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
