The Societal Impact division of CCL focuses on leadership development in four vertical areas of practice: K12 education, Higher Education, Nonprofit, and Population Health. The Development team works collaboratively with the different vertical directors, faculty, operations, and the CCL enterprise to provide high-quality, high-impact leadership solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taxation & Compliance:
    • Manage GST compliance, including filing of returns, reconciliations, and adherence to regulations.
    • Handle TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and return filing.
    • Ensure timely and accurate income tax compliance, including advance tax computations and annual returns knowledge.
    • Manage ROC (Registrar of Companies) compliance, including filing of necessary forms and resolutions.
    • MSME - filing and documentation preparation
    Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR):
    • Oversee AP processing, ensuring timely payments, vendor reconciliations, and necessary documentation.
    • Manage AR, including invoice generation, collections follow-up, and reconciliations.
    Accounting & Financial Processes:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
    • Assist in monthly and annual closing activities, including preparation of financial statements.
    • Ensure proper internal controls and process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
    Audit Support:
    • Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for financial audits.
    • Provide necessary documentation and explanations for audit queries.
    Process Understanding & Improvements:
    • Analyze current financial processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance financial operations.

    Key Skills and Competencies:
    • 8+ years of experience in Accounting.
    • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax compliance, and ROC regulations.
    • Proficiency in AP and AR management.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, and external consultants, to ensure seamless financial operations.
    • Proficiency in financial automation tools/advanced Excel features, such as, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH functions, data validation, conditional formatting, etc
    • Strong accounting knowledge.
    • Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., Microsoft D365, Tally etc.).
    • Good English communication and interpersonal skills.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
    • CA/CA Inter/ICWA (preferred but not mandatory).
