Our Close & Control area characterizes by delivering best in class processes to the Regional Haleon businesses, balancing cost, quality, customer experience, risk management and to work on Transformation initiatives. It is composed by five areas: fixed assets accounting, master data management, inventory, GL Close & Balance sheet reconciliation, and intercompany accounting.

Our Finance Services excel in the delivery of a complete, accurate, compliant, and timely set of entity IFRS reporting (corporate reporting) for a given set of markets, ensuring that monthly and close activities are carried out in a robust and efficient manner by our partner BPO (performing General Ledger, Period End Close and Balance Sheet Reconciliation activities).

Your Responsibilities:
Managing month end closing & reporting
This role gives you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:
- Efficient lease accounting critical for financial reporting and maintaining compliance with lease standards.
- Asset lifecycle management and compliance for efficient Fixed Assets process management.
- Understand the Business Units’ balance sheet and drive discussions regarding the quality and resolution of open items, assess BS healthiness.
- Preparing & posting journals for closing books on monthly, quarterly & yearly basis.
- Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve discrepancies in financial data before consolidation while reporting numbers in Bison. Skills in effectively explaining complex consolidation or reporting issues to other stakeholders arising during consolidation and its resolution.
- Ensure that accruals and prepayments are managed and documented appropriately.
- Highlight any issues and risks early to drive discussions with appropriate stakeholders preventing write-offs or unexpected P&L impact.
- Manage Markets - Controlling and Embedded Finance in understanding priorities and urgency of open item.
- Produce routine analyses, schedules and summaries for entity Financial Controllers and market Directors.
- Review the documentation for certain month-end control process, ensuring full compliance with SOX requirements. Support control remediation where required.
- Execution of controls relating to the closing & reporting.
- Contribute to standardization and improvements.
- Support controlling activities as required.
- Prepare audit deliverables as required.
