JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a Controller to join our growing team! The right candidate will have previous automotive controller experience, preferably with a collision center, and strong analytical ability. The day-to-day duties of this role include reviewing financial statements and ledgers, expense control, and reconciling bank accounts.
Controllers ensure that every aspect of a company's finances are properly analyzed, documented, and interpreted. They manage the company's accounting department and are responsible for the monitoring and upkeep of its financial health. They create reports, initiate ways for the company to improve financially, and develop long-term financial plans and goals for the organization.

Responsibilities
- Manage the financial and accounting system and personnel
- Run daily operations of the accounting department
- Reconcile the bank accounts for the collision center every single day
- Complete all required reports for the corporate office on a regular basis
- Expense control and financial statements
- Prepare payroll weekly and year end payroll reporting
- Forecast financial goals for each quarter to maintain profitability
- Review all financial statements and ledgers, and work with the accounting staff to clear up any discrepancies
- Prepare all taxes and filing forms with the government in a timely manner
- Meet with the department managers to regularly review business matters and develop plans to increase profitability
- Cross-train in all accounting positions
- Reviewing schedules, trial balances for accuracy and expense analysis
Qualifications
- 5 years of previous Collision / Body shop accounting experience
- Strong communications, customer service, leadership and problem solving skills
- Excellent analytical ability
- High school diploma is necessary; college or advanced degree preferred
- Proficiency with Quickbooks is mandatory (3 years minimum), Excel, and Microsoft Office applications
