About the Role:
As a CBRE GL Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger.
This job is part of the Controlling job function. They are responsible for the Management of the organization's financial controls and the preparation of financial reports for management and shareholders.

As a CBRE GL Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger.

What Youll Do:
- Review and interpret a significant volume of legal contracts, other supporting documents and correspondence to verify that documentation is adequate to support revenue recognition under US GAAP accounting policies. This can be of varying complexities
- Understand and adhere to internal accounting policies, processes and procedures
- Recognize and analyze potential issues and/or conflicts and recommend corrective action to minimize issues
- Organize documentation for audit
- Develop key relationships with internal clients, responding to their routine & non-routine queries
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- 5+ years of working in a finance function with exposure to US GAAP Reporting; specifically Revenue
- Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology preferred
- Able to read, analyse and interpret financial reports and complex business documents
- Experience of working in high volume transactions with a result driven mind-set
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority
- Analytical & problem-solving approach. Can collect & review data to establish facts as well as provide solutions
- Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently, being both autonomous & a team player. But can identify when issues need to be escalated quickly
- Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, etc), Oracle Peoplesoft knowledge advantageous
