Our client, an upscale mid-sized club, has an immediate need for a controller. The controller will report directly to the general manager and will be primarily responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting functions.

Duties include:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Conduct regular financial analyses to guide decision-making and maximize profitability.
- Manage external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with department leaders to maintain a positive, family-friendly workplace culture.
- Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a staff of direct reports within the finance and membership departments.
- Work closely with the Membership Department to track and maintain accurate member records and billing.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement membership programs and initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
