Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and internal audit requirements, fostering a culture of compliance across the organization.
  • Collaborate with auditors, company secretaries, and relevant stakeholders to align financial reporting with regulatory standards.
  • Provide insights and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and address audit observations.
  • Identify and drive improvements in accounting and financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead the optimization of the SAP FICO module, ensuring its effective use for financial management and reporting.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements to introduce innovative solutions.
  • Support the Deputy CFO in delivering actionable insights through management information systems (MIS).
  • Develop dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other tools to monitor financial performance and guide decision-making.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial strategies.
  • Act as a key point of contact for audits, fostering positive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Mentor and support team members, contributing to a cohesive and high-performing finance function.
  • Promote a workplace culture that values transparency, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA / Inter CA) or Masters degree in Accounts/Finance with Inter CA.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience, and at least 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP in a manufacturing setup, preferably within the oil and gas sector.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of financial compliance, regulatory standards and Balance Sheet & Finalization.
  • Proficiency in SAP FICO and data analytics tools.
  • Understanding of taxation laws and financial reporting practices.
