Job Context & Major Challenge(s):
- Works under minimal supervision in accordance with established guidelines and strategic direction.
- Job holder is expected to handle complex problems and issues relating to the role. Able to understand and apply proven concepts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handling Hyperion Financial Management system to ensure monthly closing and adjustment entries. Meeting deadlines given by corporate office and parent company.
- Preparation of Monthly Management reporting packs of all countries and publish to country managers. Collating required information for Management discussion.
- Consolidation of accounts on monthly basis, passing necessary entries. Preparation of Monthly Consolidated reporting pack and send to FP&A manager for review. Sending final reports to parent company
- Receiving budget and forecast numbers from entities and ensure the same is loaded into Hyperion. Preparation budget and forecast presentations and sending the same to corporate for final revision.
- Variance analysis and explanations to be given to parent company reporting team.
- Preparation Financial Statements for Audit and supplying necessary reports and confirmation to the auditors.
- Preparation of Ad-hoc reports for group controller and CFO.
- Ensure standards and policies are met in discharge of duties. Update the knowledge and skills from time to time to ensure global reporting standards are followed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. (preferably first or second attempt)
- 0-2 Years in FP&A role
- Should be proficient in MS Excel and Power point.
- Proficient in HFM application and Oracle.
- Must be very familiar with working with multiple currencies, foreign exchange currencies and different tax codes.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to establish and maintain productive result.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is required.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize multiple on-going projects.
