Responsibilities

Your Role:
  • The senior analyst - Regulatory Reporting will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting team and he/she will be responsible for the preparation of various regulatory returns for the Citco Banks and other regulated companies in the Citco Group of Companies.
  • The individual will work with internal stakeholders, such as the Capital Management, Risk, Finance, Treasury, Data Governance and IT teams facilitate to the smooth integration of system changes.
  • He/she will also assist in the deployment of various standard operating procedures and the preparation of the regulatory reports for the Citco banks and other regulated entities that are located in Europe, Canada and the Caribbean in order to ensure a sound control environment.
  • prepare returns for regulated entities in the Citco Group of companies so as to ensure compliance.
  • Develop standard operating procedure manuals.
  • Support the regulatory teams in Pune, India and Vilnius, Lithuania in decision making with impact assessments of new regulations and announcements that may affect the organization.
  • Develop and maintain controls to validate with reasonable certainty the accuracy and completeness of the data input into the calculations.
  • Automate and streamline the current processes to improve reporting analysis, commentary, data quality, timeliness and accuracy.
  • Analyze and explain key day on day drivers for movement’s in liquidity position of the firm through various liquidity risk metrics.
  • Preparation of the annual reports for key entities within the Citco Group of Companies
  • Coordinate the annual financial statement reporting cycle, e.g. roll-forward prior year balances
  • Assist in the software implementation project to automate the preparation of financial statements
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Liaise with external auditors to support the resolution of accounting and reporting items
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies of financial information and prepare documentation for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy and completeness
  • Liaising and reporting on statutory accounting matters
  • Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms to ensure correct reporting


Qualifications

About You:
  • Prepare returns for regulated entities in the Citco Group of companies so as to ensure compliance.
  • Develop standard operating procedure manuals.
  • Support the regulatory teams in Pune, India and Vilnius, Lithuania in decision making with impact assessments of new regulations and announcements that may affect the organization.
  • Develop and maintain controls to validate with reasonable certainty the accuracy and completeness of the data input into the calculations.
  • Automate and streamline the current processes to improve reporting analysis, commentary, data quality, timeliness and accuracy.
  • Analyze and explain key day on day drivers for movement’s in liquidity position of the firm through various liquidity risk metrics.
  • Chartered accountant with 1-3 years post qualification experience
  • Excellent written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and work independently
  • Experience in the production of consolidated financial statements
  • Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with good use and knowledge of Excel
