We are looking for a Senior Associate - Accounts Payable and Expense Reporting to join our accounting team in Hyderabad, India. In this individual contributor role, you will play a key part in processing accounts payable and expense reports while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures. What You’ll Do Here:
- Accounts Payable Management:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and on time, maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
- Ensure accurate coding and timely entry of invoices into the ERP system (NetSuite).
- Perform regular reconciliations and address any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in developing and maintaining AP policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and on time, maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
- Expense Reporting Management:
- Review and process employee expense reports for reimbursement, ensuring adherence to policy guidelines.
- Verify receipts and check compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Assist employees with submitting expense reports and understanding policy requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the expense reporting process.

- Journal Entries and Reporting:
- Assist with booking journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support month-end close activities by providing reconciliations and maintaining organized records.
- Generate and analyze reports related to accounts payable and expense reimbursements to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.

- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all AP and expense reporting activities comply with company policies, financial regulations, and audit requirements.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and address findings or recommendations.
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with AP and expense management activities.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and expense management.
- Proficiency with NetSuite and expense management tools (i.e Expensify).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, AP processes, expense management practices, and US GAAP.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accounting credentials (such as a Chartered Accountant or CPA) are a plus, but not required.
- Experience working in a global or multinational company.
- Advanced knowledge of expense policies and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with data analysis and reporting.
