Finance Controller has full responsibility (processes and results) towards P&L management, preparation of plan/quarterly estimates, financial reporting & analysis for AIL Pharma Business units. Within this role, he/she acts as the key business partner while constantly ensuring financial compliance with all relevant internal & external standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide ongoing standard analysis on all levels of the P&L, mainly revenue, margin and operating expenses. The predominant focus should be on forward-looking analysis and risks/opportunities. Develop mitigation plans where needed to offset risks (Development of the "Plan B")
• Supports during month end closing activities, ensures all provisions are accounted accurately
• Take accountability of managing corporate expense budgets, monitor actuals and explain variances
• Support the needs of the specialist groups in commercially related tasks (internal audits, external audits, tax process changes, inventory management, etc.)
• Participate in Affiliate & Region level projects (Cost Optimization, margin improvement initiatives)
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience preferably in business finance function
• Ability to drive change amongst peers and senior commercial leaders. Strong Business Partnering skills.
• Sufficient accounting and compliance experience to set the tone to the overall organization
• Visible passion for change management
