Summary
The Director of Finance will play a critical role in managing the Business Management Group of the company, supporting the CFO in driving financial strategy, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization. This position involves overseeing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, treasury,and financial reporting. The Director of Finance will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining strong internal controls.
Compensation
$183,000 - $210,000 (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Job Description
- Assist the CFO in developing and implementing the company's financial strategy
- Oversee and control the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by the executive team
- Oversee and approve the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in both GAAP and IFRS
- Oversee and control the preparation of financial statements and coordinate external audits
- Monitor and manage the company's budget to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Establish strategic cashflow to achieve bussines goal alligned with Glovis headquarter and monitor its spending
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies
- Collaborate with the CFO to assess and mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with the other departments to achieve the Company goal
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance function
- Lead special projects and initiatives as directed by the CFO
- Provide financial expertise and support for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic opportunities
- Support C-suites in all aspect of financial matters
- Set, Review and amend policies in the business management group (Financial analysis, Accounting & tax, Treasury)
- Establish KPIs for the business management group and monitor monthly performance
- Lead and mentor employees of the business management group, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
- Provide guidance and support to ensure the team's professional development and the achievement of goals
- Observe affiliate companies to provide guidelines aligned with the company's overall strategy
- Manage and control the headcount of the business management group to increase efficiency
- Respond to Glovis headquarters in Seoul to follow up on instructions
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across the organization, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising performance quality
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies, and affiliated companies
- Represent the company in financial discussions and negotiations to ensure favorable outcomes
- Identify, assess and manage financial risks, including currency exchange, interest rates, and investment risks
- Developand maintain robust internal controls to protect the company's assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Plan and determine system development within the business management group
- Other duties as assigned

- Certification or license of CPA, CMA, CIA, CFA, CFP, etc Preferred
