Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $140,000 to $180,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial integrity.
• Oversee cash flow management and liquidity planning.
• Prepare timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
• Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team.
• Support strategic planning initiatives with financial insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred
• 7+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong emphasis on GAAP and inventory accounting.
• Experience in preparing for and managing audits, both internal and external.
• Proven experience in a senior financial managerial position within a manufacturing environment.
• Significant experience in both public accounting and private industry accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software(NetSuite) required and financial management systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
