The Role
KRA /Core Responsibilities & Performance Indicators :
1.Inter Company Reconciliation:
a.On Monthly basis, we get the reconciliation for Inter branch (at Intra company level the same should be NIL)
2. Resolving Auditor Queries
a.We receive queries from internal auditors on daily / weekly / monthly basis for complete accounts related issues. I have to check where there is an errors, actual cause of error, identify the person and then resolve the revert back to auditors on timely basis.
3.Fund Management across the branches
To Monitor the funds at all India level, for eg excess funds to be taken to CC, if shortfall at branch level than we give the funds to Branches after evaluating the need and case to case basis
4.Monitoring Bank Reco
On Daily Basis, branches send the bank reco as of previous date, which should tallies with the books and bank, to monitor the same and to go thru Unreconciled items
5.Preparation of SOP - Process Documents of MIS
To Prepare and execute the various types of SOPs related to accounts, so that all the branches are aliged and follow the same process
6.Responsible for Annual Accounts Finalization at Pan India Level - Consolidation
Finalising of Books of Accounts, preparing balance sheet, getting the same audited by Statutory Auditor, to delegate the work and cordinating with auditor on timely basis.
7.Statutory Compliances
To ensure that we are compliant so far as Statutory payments are concerned, making the payments within the due date, to coordinate and ensure that all the filing of statutory returns are done within the given time frame.
8.Continuous Ledger Scrutiny and Clearing the Balance Sheet items
To review Balance sheet and PnL ledger, scrutinise the same on timely basis, so any adverse amount entries / errors can be eliminated / rectified
9.AR Review
To review accounts receivables / payables with the branches / branch head on fortnightly basis to ensure that the receivables / collections are in a flow and disputes if any can be resolved / highlighted to management
10.Clearing the On A/c payments / receipts
To follow up with the branches for clearing of on a/c for any kind of on A/c payment / receipts / advance are not adjusted with the actual bills.
11.Coordinating with IT for Logistics related issues
To coordinate with IT for logisys related issue, to highlight the same and get it resolved.
12.Handling Payable and Receivables, Billing activities - evaluating
To discuss with the team for any kind of issues disputes for payables / receivables / billing activities, if required coordinating with the other departments and if further required to discuss with External parties.
13.Management of technical issues relating to GST and TDS
There are various amendments in Goods and Service tax and TDS, so timely studying the same, discussing it with the consultant, discussing with the management and drawing the conclusions as and when required

14.Checking of Job Profitability / Customer Profitability and getting it locked
a.To review Job profitability on regular basis, to ensure that Loss jobs, Unbilled revenues are duly highlighted to the respective departments,
b.Customer Profitability - To review customer profitability, to evaluate the profitability and highlight the same to the management
c.Job Locking - to ensure that branches lock the jobs operationally as well as financially on timely basis.
