About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires a proactive professional capable of handling multiple financial functions independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
  • Manage taxation matters, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Perform audits, both internal and statutory, to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies to support organizational goals.
  • Provide advisory on financial planning, risk management, and cost optimization.
  • Maintain and improve internal control systems to enhance financial accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
  • Handle payroll processing and compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a valid ICAI membership.
  • Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation, and auditing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and income tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in managing international accounting or compliance.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting under IFRS or US GAAP is a plus.
