Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
- Manage taxation matters, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Perform audits, both internal and statutory, to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies to support organizational goals.
- Provide advisory on financial planning, risk management, and cost optimization.
- Maintain and improve internal control systems to enhance financial accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
- Handle payroll processing and compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a valid ICAI membership.
- Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation, and auditing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and income tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Experience in managing international accounting or compliance.
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Familiarity with financial reporting under IFRS or US GAAP is a plus.
