Job Description:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Assist in handling full sets of account (AP/AR/GL)
- Involve in monthly accounts closing, such as posting of month-end closing journal entries, preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, tax computations and other related matters
- Perform monthly reconciliation schedules and follow up on outstanding items (e.g. creditors, debtors, bank accounts, inter-company reconciliation etc)
- Assist in preparation of weekly P&L and cashflow statement
- Support in preparation of annual and quarterly re-forecast
- Statutory audits & tax filing: Preparation of financial statement, accounting working papers, accounts analysis and supporting schedules
- Well-versed with WHT implications
- Supporting the Finance Manager and Senior Accountant with ad-hoc tasks when required
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:
- At least 3 years of solid accounting experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting
- Professional qualification (ACCA/CFA/CPA) is considered a plus
- Preferably someone from Marketing & Advertising or Finance Shared Services experience
- Someone who has experience working in fast paced environment / have dealt with large volume of transactions
- A team player with good interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Able to multitask and work with cross departments/countries
- Able to work and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Possess good and positive working attitude
- Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Xero preferred
