Role Description

This role is assigned to Finance in support of various finance functions such as but not limited to Accounting, Capital Assets, Credit & Collections, Account Receivables and Account Payables. The primary responsibility for this role is to support the Finance employees located in Hyderabad who are members of global finance functional teams. This person must understand the needs of the Finance employees regarding quality, hiring and staffing. Responsibilities include keeping the team members highly motivated and engaged on job assignments. Develop hard and soft skills on employees, ensure proper following standard of processes and working with the assigned team to manage and maintain a high-quality of the work performed according to expectations from supported teams.

Education and experience
o Master’s degree in finance, accounting or similar. MBA or CPA desired.
o 10+ years of cross functional finance experience in a multinational and multicultural environment in shared services function.

Technical knowledge
o Finance professional with advanced knowledge above all cross functional finance processes (Accounting business principles, Account Payables, Account Receivables, Capital Assets, among others)
o Working knowledge of key systems/tools (SAP, BICL, Microsoft Products).

Key Responsibilities

o Coordinate with functional management the establishment of goals and job expectations for the team (e.g. annual/quarterly performance reviews and expected behaviors).
o Oversees the delivery of assigned tasks while applying conceptual knowledge and following established procedures to ensure the integrity of the tasks performed by the team.
o Ensure completion of deliverables and metrics assigned in support of the functional teams. Examples include but not limited to DSO/DPO targets, past due balances, resolution of billing/payment discrepancies, project completion, etc.
o Make recommendations to finance functional teams to improve processes, communication and coordination of activities to be performed by the team.
o Provide active support on the implementation of new technologies, changes in processes and procedures guided by the functional finance teams.
• People Management Skills
o Recruit and develop a team of talents.
o Communicate and coordinate with Human Resources personnel needs and opportunities to ensure the well-being and safety of the team.
o Provide day-to-day administrative support to team members onsite
o Proactively coaching people to develop strengths.
o Communicate and coordinate with functional finance teams on personnel development and growth opportunities for the team members.
o Monitor employees and properly address personnel needs in conjunction with the Human Resources policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with local labor regulations.
