Johnson & Johnson is currently hiring for a Senior Finance Director who will be a key member of the India Leadership team and responsible for delivering the business results and framing the long-term and short-term strategic direction for the MedTech business. This role independently leads the Finance function in India, reporting to the MedTech APAC CFO and is a key member of the APAC MedTech Finance Leadership team. The Senior Finance Director role, in addition to being a pivotal member of the Management Operating Committee in India, also involves collaborating and influencing multiple stakeholders in APAC Region and Global.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial leadership to MedTech India and responsible for delivering superior financial targets and driving sustainable long-term growth as one of the growth drivers for MedTech APAC.
- Shape Compliant leadership, processes and controls across the organization, including the integrity of internally and externally-reported initiatives.
- Comply with internal and external GAAP and other statutory requirements.
- Lead the development and execution of the annual Business Plan, quarterly forecasts, Strategic plans plus the reporting, analysis and delivery of actual results.
- Responsible for end to end financial support for India MedTech.
- Provide leadership oversight and direction to the Commercial Excellence and Commercial Operations functions of India MedTech.
- Interact and collaborate regularly with the Commercial, SC, and Finance leaders across each of the segments to develop business plans, identify value creation opportunities, and support sector initiatives.
- Monitors and authorizes pricing decisions to ensure profitable growth and adherence to pricing requirements.
- Plays a critical role in deal structuring
- Reviews profitability analysis to alert senior management to substantial deviations from the business plan. Recommends approaches for improvement.
- Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
- Develops key process indicators and other quantifiable measurement tools to track results of functional activities and regularly reports to top management.
- Interacts closely with industry peers and Government bodies to shape and influence best practices and policies.
- Promotes Enterprise thinking and shaping India policies through the MOC.
- Influences senior Regional and Global stakeholders on investments, resources, risks and opportunities in India.
- Responsible for talent development, guidance, mentoring for all the Finance employees in India.
Qualifications
- CPA/MBA/CMA/CA with 15-20 years of finance business experience in MNCs
- MedTech industry experience will be an advantage
- Proven leadership skills and ability to encourage, motivate, and empower people
- Ability to effectively influence and shape senior-level business decisions
- Proven results building partnerships and collaborating at all levels and with multiple functions/affiliates
- Strong business acumen coupled with strategic mentality
- Strong technical and analytical skills
This role will required up to 25% domestic & international travel.
