In this role you will be you will be responsible for leading and driving the transformation of our finance department. You will work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies that will streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive growth.
Responsibilities
• Lead transformation for Finance and Procurement. Person would deal with various stakeholders across Finance sub-functions (controllership, FP&A, sourcing, treasury, investor relations, and taxation), Project One Genpact team, IT and Transformation.
• Develop and lead the overall strategy and vision for Finance Transformation Initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of initiatives, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of finance transformation initiatives.
• Conduct thorough research/ analysis to identify transformation opportunities and potential risks. Implement process changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Create and maintain a detailed roadmap, outlining key milestones, timelines, and dependencies.
• Establish and implement effective project management methodologies and processes to ensure successful execution.
• Monitor progress and performance on key initiatives, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks that may arise.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders on program status, achievements, and challenges.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout the transformation process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the finance function.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• CA or MBA Finance from a recognized university
• Proven track record of successfully leading finance transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, processes, and systems.
• Relevant experience in Program management roles, preferably within Finance landscape, demonstrated ability to provide strategic insights and solutions to Sr. Leadership and internal teams.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes and identify interdependencies that clearly articulate the program progress and choke points.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Deliver engaging and impactful presentations to Sr. Leadership and internal stakeholders. Translate complex information into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Lead change initiatives, driving adoption of new processes and technologies.
