About the Role:
As an Assistant Manager Finance you will be doing :
Internal Controls: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.Implement and maintain robust financial policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
Audit Management: Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including the preparation of audit schedules and documentation. Act as a liaison between auditors and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely responses to audit requests and inquiries. Assist in conducting audit fieldwork, performing testing procedures and validating financial records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Prepare audit schedules, respond to audit inquiries and implement audit recommendations to enhance internal controls and financial processes.
Preparation of MIS: Develop and maintain Management Information Systems to facilitate informed decision-making by management. Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing key findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review and decision-making.
Assistance in Due Diligence: Support the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing financial data, identifying risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to support decision-making during due diligence processes.
Must Have Skills:
Chartered Accountant (Qualified or Semi-Qualified): Preference will be given to candidates with a CA qualification or in the final stages of completing their CA.
Experience: Prior experience in preparing MIS, conducting due diligence and assisting in audits is preferred.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with stakeholders and convey financial information clearly.
