Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Controller at Finanshels.com. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for Accounting, managing financial statements, conducting financial reporting, utilising accounting software, taxation and applying analytical skills to support the financial operations of our organization. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company.

• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

• Manage the bookkeeping process, including recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, and reconciling accounts. • Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.

• Manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, making payments, and reconciling accounts.

• Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and filing requirements.

• Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other regulatory filings.

• Manage payroll processing, including calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensuring timely payment to employees.

• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. • Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management to support decision-making. • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and budgeting activities.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Experience in managing financial statements and financial reporting

• Strong analytical skills for data analysis and interpretation

• Proficiency in accounting software

• Ability to prepare and present financial reports

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Semi-qualified CA or Relevant professional certifications (i.e. MBA) are preferred

• Experience in the finance industry or working with SMBs is a plus
