Job Title: Accountant (GST Filing, Tally Backup, and Audit Assistance)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling GST filing, managing Tally backups, and providing audit assistance. The candidate should be capable of working independently as well as in collaboration with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (e.g., B.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role, specifically with GST filing, Tally software, and audit assistance.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9/Prime or similar accounting software.
• Solid understanding of GST laws and filing procedures.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reconciliation.
• Experience with GST reconciliation, accounting entries, and tax computations.

Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of GST returns, GST compliance, and tax regulations.
• Familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS) and Income Tax provisions.
• Understanding of audit processes and financial reporting.

Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external auditors.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification or training in GST or Taxation.
• Familiarity with audit procedures and tax audits.
• Knowledge of financial accounting principles and statutory requirements.
