Job Description:
Phreesia is looking for a Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our growing team! Reporting to the Manager, Billing, you will take part in a variety of tasks including Accounts Receivable analysis, invoice creation and crediting, and special projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable Accounting - Manage day-to-day accounting and finance matters
Work with the team to perform and manage the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly reporting
Prepare settlement run for AR collection
Track past due invoices for late fees
Perform ad hoc analysis as requested to support business objectives
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies and processes
Work with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit
Prepare detailed accounts receivable quality checklists for complex invoices
Create and track metrics for accounts receivable goals
Special Projects - Leverage automation, thoughtful analysis, and best practices to drive organizational effectiveness
Complete special projects as requested; evaluate current accounting practices, identify problems and discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and escalate as needed
Education
Bachelor's Degree required
Certifications
CPA license (or in progress) . CA qualification is a plus.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum 3 years of billing or collections experience
Desire to learn US GAAP, SEC rules and requirements
Working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley internal controls requirements
Technology
Proficient in using Excel to analyze financial data
Familiarity with Workday preferred

This is a fully remote position with the shift timings of 4:30 PM - 1:30 AM IST.
