As a Finance & Business Management - Associate within our Finance team, you will act as a subject matter expert on costing methodologies and providing insights to Product/ Business Managers thereby supporting strategic initiatives and business planning. This role provides a unique opportunity to interact with cross-functional teams such as product managers, business managers, operations and technology partners. This role is suited for someone with a strong finance and analytics background, adept at working in a fast-paced environment, and possessing excellent technical and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement costing strategies for the Securities Services business, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational realities.
  • Utilize costing to support pricing decisions and client reviews, providing critical data that informs strategic decision-making by senior management.
  • Build and maintain data models using Alteryx and create insightful reports in Tableau; familiarity with QlikSense is a plus.
  • Ensure costing is integrated into the firm’s financial reporting systems, supporting transparency and accuracy in financial statements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Managers, and Operations/Technology teams to derive unit costs that inform pricing strategies and enhance profitability analytics.
  • Automate and build controls and checks, perform reconciliation of input data with output, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on costing methodologies, addressing queries and providing insights to Product/Business management across various lines of business, thereby supporting strategic initiatives and business planning.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum 4 years of FP&A experience
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • Strong judgment, integrity, and work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented and strategic thinker.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum 4 years of FP&A experience, preferably in financial services.
  • CFA, CPA, MBA preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, Tableau, and Qlik Sense is preferred.
