Global Finance & Business Management (“GF&BM”) India is a combined Line of Business-aligned (LOB-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan’s global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm’s Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm’s capital.
As an Analyst - Global Private Bank, Financial Analysis, Mumbai within the Global Private Bank Banking Finance team, you will be responsible for developing a solid understanding of regions and products across GPB. You will articulate trends and business promoters for management decision support and work closely with Regional CFO and CEO teams to provide management insights, reporting, and analytics. Your role will involve weekly reporting for GPB business, managing reporting changes, participating in annual planning/forecasting processes, preparing ad-hoc analyses for management meetings, enhancing controls and streamlining processes, and providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.

- The incumbent will develop a solid understanding of regions and products across GPB and be able to articulate trends and business promoters for management decision support and works very closely with Regional CFO and CEO teams to provide management insights, reporting and analytics.
- Responsible for weekly reporting for GPB business which include key business metrics. This includes revenues, flows, balances, headcount & expense, or profitability, where you will be expected to deliver value-added financial reporting and analysis and assist with strategic decision making.
- Work with various Essbase and database interfaces to manage reporting changes.
- Participate in annual planning / forecasting process for revenues, flows and balances which involves financial modeling, coordinating, and consolidating submissions from CFO teams as well as preparing management presentations.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses for management meetings and strategic reviews using Tableau as the primary tool (e.g., Operating Committee Review, Regional Business and Finance Townhall, Investor Day, etc.)
- Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible. Calculation and consolidation of the month-end results and the forecast for the remainder of the year
- Developing metrics, creating presentations, and generally providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.
- Helping design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management and Contribute ideas around improving reporting capabilities and new projects. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal & written) with ability to articulate complex issues clearly to internal clients and senior management.
- Sound judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity towards handling highly sensitive and confidential information, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented individual with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate must be comfortable with frequently changing priorities.
- Demonstrate team oriented, inquisitive, critical thinking, positive attitude, and solutions-oriented mindset with intellectual curiosity to be able to think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Qualification: CA or an MBA in Finance is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of Finance experience, preferably in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background. Private banking product and business understanding /experience would be preferred.
- Advanced Tableau dash boarding, Excel and PowerPoint skills, preferably with experience of Hyperion Essbase, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and MS Access.
