Your New Role...
This position provides support for:
DTC International CFO organizations including segment finance teams, supporting consolidated financial reporting across all business units within the APAC DTC segments. This role provides support for regional finance on reporting & consolidation, coordination of calendars and deliverables, financial analysis, data management, operational review reporting. The role supports preparation and review of APAC DTC consolidated operating results and financial reporting packages, Foreign Exchange reporting and analysis, flash reporting, trend reporting, and ad hoc analysis as required. APAC Networks; support reporting & consolidation of the Asia Central P&L, working with Functional COE and Controllership on budgeting, forecasting and actuals and variance analysis and any ad hoc analysis as required
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Collaborate with APAC Finance Team, DTC Finance Team and International LOB on budget, forecast and month end process
- Support Senior Manager / Manager to consolidate APAC reporting
- Manage APAC WBD DTC's reporting to support APAC Finance Team for budget, LRP & IBR Pack, forecasting and monthly actuals (MRT) including, but not limited to
- Data upload, reconciliation and data validation in forecasting system
- Variance analysis
- Identify any risks / opportunities and tracking of Gaps to Target
- Detailed review of actuals and resolving any incorrect entries with the relevant teams
- Tracking Subscriber numbers
- Serve as a liaison between segment finance, corporate finance, shared services Accounting and GBS teams, specifically related to the monthly close process. Ensure issues are resolved, and business matters are communicated timely
- Drive process improvement initiatives and reporting changes required by the organization.
- Propose changes to the reporting as appropriate to maintain the relevance of the information presented, including and not limited to;
- Cost Centre creation and data validation in forecasting system
- Updating process documentation, including cheat sheets
- Provide financial insight and support for Asia Central P&L, including working with Technology & Operations Finance & FP&A, ensuring that the financial planning process and deliverables are aligned with regional operations.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and duties as required, including business cases and new projects.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent).
- Minimum of 4+ years relevant work experience.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with key accounting principles and concepts, financial analysis and reporting. Experience with Hyperion and SAP is a plus.
- Strong written, oral and presentation skills; effective communicator at all levels of the organization; ability to influence others.
- High level of executive presence with strong interpersonal and problem resolution skills, and a high degree of integrity, tact and diplomacy.
- Active communicator, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization and across multiple locations.
