About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst.
In this role, you will:
- Provide monthly flash reporting across all Technology Functions
- Provide financial cost reports highlighting actual vs. forecast/budget variances with commentary in order to highlight risk and opportunities and drive cost efficiency
- Conduct analysis of key business drivers, trends and performance indicators to provide value-added inputs to help decision making in executing strategy
- Provide Workforce Analytics and Reporting; Including Monthly Actuals vs Plan and Forecasting by Function
- Deep analytical capabilities and project cost tracking skills/ Knowledge of Project based billing
- Track and analyze direct and indirect cost allocations. Detailed analysis around software capitalization, amortization, depreciation, fixed asset and inventory planning
- Knowledge of software/Hardware product services, vendor products, Infrastructure cost, storage data centers, vendor contracts, Telecommunication charges and allocations.
- Project portfolio management- Creation of cost case
- Understanding of Finance application (Apptio) & database management system
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics; CA/CFA/MBA a plus
- Total 12+ years of experience in corporate, multi-line business organization.
- Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to give presentations and briefings to senior management
- Creative and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to analyze business transactions and identify key Finance risks/mitigating controls,
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high energy levels
- Must be able to work independently with positive collaboration within a fast paced, team environment
Job Expectations:
- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting concepts, methodologies and systems. (Cost Basis Accounting, GAAP, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting)
- Exposure to key accounting tools like Oracle Financials, Essbase and Power BI & Apptio tools.
- Strong knowledge in PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
- Attention to detail - Recognizes the importance of detail to ensure data integrity
- Comfortable to work in Rotational shift
