Chief Financial Officer - FPG
Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Sarasota Memorial Hospital - FPG provides financial leadership to the First physicians Group (FPG)management group. Working as a partner with the Corporate Finance division team in a matrix organizational structure, the CFO serves as the financial interface to the FPG senior leadership team and department directors. The CFO is also responsible for trouble-shooting issues, establishing the annual operating and capital budgets for FPG, monitoring budget compliance throughout the year, preparing proformas on proposals for new equipment or service lines, and preparing look-back analyses on existing business, as well as, supporting compliance with all external regulations and internal policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Require a bachelor's degree in accounting plus CPA Certificate.
- Require five (5) years of experience as a financial administrator in a healthcare facility, preferably a large multi-specialty physician practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer experience communicating effectively with department directors, administration, and the Board.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to function effectively in a matrix organizational structure.
- Prefer experience with physician/provider billing and collection policies, as well as experience in an integrated delivery system structure.
