We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Accounting Representative I to join our Finance team. This role is located in Chennai, TN -HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Responsible for managing the Intercompany activities- IC Billing, Settlements and Reconciliations and assist onshore teams for Monthly/ Quarter close
  • Prepare/post journal entries for complex or routine business. transactions and inter-company transactions
  • Good knowledge and expertise in preparing general ledger balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Proactively work with the onshore teams for timely clearance, resolution of reconciliation variance & aged outstanding items.
  • Excellent knowledge and expertise in reviewing the Journal entries and ensure the substantiation supporting documents attached to journal entry before approving the journal entry.
  • Support the FPO/ Operation Manager in various projects undertaken within the Intercompany Close and Consolidation group

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
  • 4 to 6 year experience in Record to Report (R2R)
  • Qualification - B.Com with 4+ years / M.Com/ MBA with 2+ years /CWA-Inter/ CA-Inter with 1+year of experience.
  • Preferable having knowledge on ERP (Oracle) and Blackline reconciliations.
  • Good communication skills
  • Work independently and under less supervision
  • Experience in Client handling (preferably Overseas Clients)
  • Must have handled transitions either remote or in person
  • Good understanding about some of the critical words used in the industry like Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Service level agreement (SLA), Continuous Process improvement (CPI), preparation of metrics like dashboard, error register and issue log.
  • Good understanding of various Sub system modules and how this impacts the General ledger
