Description
We are recruiting for a Consultant in the Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) team - Statutory Accounting. Working as a Consultant in this team, your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of Statutory Accounts under IFRS / US GAAP
To provide technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support andresearch to international KPMG teams and clients, including implementationassistance with new accounting standards.
Assist with US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory filings forspin-offs, carve-outs, initial public offerings (IPO), debt offerings, and otheracquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions.
Provide conversion services to U.S. and foreign registered companies to /from U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) andInternational Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Support business development initiatives.

Education / professional
qualifications
CA / CPA / ACCA / Semi Qualified / Post Graduate
Prior Experience:
•Post qualification financial audit experience with a public accounting or advisory firm or similar organization,•Must have experience in preparation of Statutory Accounts under IFRS and US GAAP.•Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
Project and Team management exposure
Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and also workingas part of a team during larger projects
Technical skills:
Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS framework and ability to research technical topics efficiently and effectively.
Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment
Behavioral / team skills
Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tightdeadlines and in demanding situations without compromising on quality andethical standards and values
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player; self-driven and ability to work independently as well as able tomotivate team members
Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours andwork environments and locations.
Ability to travel internationally.
