In this individual contributor role, the FP&A Specialist not only reports forecasts and variances but also uses that data to advise management on decisions such as how to improve performance, minimize risk or capture new opportunities from both within the company and within the external environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives

Lead scenario planning and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making at the executive level

Identify and analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and economic indicators to inform financial strategies

Collaborate with C-suite executives to develop and implement financial initiatives that drive growth and profitability

Oversee the creation and management of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve financial and operational performance.

Direct the FP&A team in developing comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts

Implement and optimize financial planning processes and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency

Manage the development of executive-level financial presentations and reports.

Mentor and develop the FP&A team, fostering a culture of analytical thinking and continuous improvement.

Design and execute a strategic investor relations program that effectively communicates the company's value proposition and financial narrative

Develop and maintain relationships with key investors, analysts, and financial institutions

Lead the preparation and delivery of investor presentations

Collaborate with the team to shape the company's financial messaging and disclosure strategy

Monitor and analyze market perceptions, investor sentiment, and competitive positioning to inform strategic decision-making

Requirements

A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience

CPA (CMA, CGA or CA) in progress (at senior level of program is preferred)

Education: College diploma in Business or related discipline. A university degree in finance, commerce or business administration is preferred;

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is mandatory (Pivot tables, V&H Lookup, simple Macros)

Able to meet tight deadlines and work in fast-paced environment

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Able to work well independently and within team environment

Strong business and financial acumen; able to link business requirements with financial objectives

Strong communication skills - clear written and verbal communication
