Job Overview: As a Finance Business Partner at Schneider Electric, you will serve as a critical link between the finance function and various business units, playing a pivotal role in driving financial performance, strategic decision-making, and sustainable growth. You will be a trusted advisor, providing valuable financial insights, analysis, and support to enable business units to achieve their strategic objectives and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with business unit leaders, developing a deep understanding of their operations, strategic goals, and challenges. Provide proactive financial support and insights to help drive performance, optimize resource allocation, and enhance profitability. Financial Analysis and Insights: Utilize advanced financial analysis techniques to interpret complex data, identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and present actionable recommendations to the business units. Drive insightful financial discussions and decision-making processes.Financial Planning and Forecasting: Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes for the assigned business units, working in partnership with business stakeholders to develop accurate and comprehensive financial plans. Provide scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to support strategic decision-making.Investment Appraisal and Business Case Development: Support business units in developing robust business cases and investment proposals (including head count increments), evaluating financial feasibility, potential returns, and risks. Provide financial modeling and analysis to guide key investment decisions.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor and partner to business leaders, leveraging your financial expertise and business acumen to influence and support key initiatives, investments, and decision-making processes. Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and analysis to enhance business performance, decision-making, and resource optimization. Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and value creation.Qualifications and Skills:Chartered Accountant. Additional academics in law, management is a add-on.Proven experience (~3 to 4 years) in a finance business partnering or similar role aligned to business guidance, preferably within a multinational corporation.
