Exusia, Inc., a cutting-edge data and information management consulting firm, seeks a self-starter to join our Global Finance practice in our Pune office as an Analyst/Senior Analyst, depending on experience and capability. Currently, we are following remote working model and the successful candidate will be required to have high speed internet connectivity with back up for seamless working operations.

What’s the Role?

This position reports to the Finance vertical head and the successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the finance and accounting verticals of the firm. In this capacity, the Analyst/Senior Analyst will work closely with the Head of Operations and senior leadership team to evaluate and execute key financial and strategic initiatives and functions for the business and interact directly with clients, employees, and vendors globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in the accounting software.

• Execute the Global Payroll and process monthly payroll journal entries

• Update accounts payable and perform bank reconciliations

• Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies

• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to government stipulated legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

• Performing daily/monthly/quarterly company compliance which includes making remittances.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.

• Tracking and closing GST, TDS, PF related activities and deliverables towards applicable company compliances by the government

• Optimize management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning

• Liaise with employees, clients, and vendors on critical operational and finance matters globally.

• Researching and performing due diligence on show cause notices and assisting the team on compliance requirements.

• Track and report on key metrics to provide feedback on financial and operational efficacy of business decisions; ensure both the timeliness and accuracy of such reporting

• Timely escalations and proactive approach towards sensitive matters.

Mandatory Skills

• Proactive, self-starter who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Progressive experience and expertise in Core Accounting and (FP&A) is a plus

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably with a background in core finance and accounting practice.

• Analytical, strategic, and innovative thinking capabilities

• Proven ability to distil critical information from complex data and communicate effectively with senior leadership

• Track record of success working independently with limited structure in dynamic work environment; works well under pressure, managing to tight deadlines

• Practical and results-oriented; displays excellent business acumen and an ownership mentality

• Flexible and adaptable to work times in global time zones as work demands; able to learn new skills and master changing responsibilities quickly

• Having working experience with Quick Books will be preferred. Zoho books will be added advantage.

• CA/CPA/ CMA/MBA Finance /Post-Graduate/Pursuing ICAI/Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and demonstrated academic achievement
