The Inspire Brands Hyderabad Support Center will focus on developing new capabilities in data science, data analytics, eCommerce, automation, cloud computing, and information security to accelerate the companys business strategy. Inspire Brands Hyderabad Support Center will also host an innovation lab and collaborate with start-ups to develop solutions for productivity optimization, workforce management, loyalty management, payments systems, and more.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Business Lead within the Accounting Shared Services organization responsible for building, leading, and growing an accounting and financial systems shared services team to meet compliance, cost effectiveness / consolidation, efficiency, and service goals. This role will hire, train, and lead a new accounting shared services team in the Inspire Hyderabad Support Center (HSC).
This role will assist the team in defining repeatable frameworks and tools while aligning people, process, and systems. This role will also provide direct oversight for Financial Systems, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, and Accounts Payable (shared service accounting) teams in the HSC. Responsibilities include managing transformation, integration, and consolidation activities including people and processes, along with the financial close cycle, balance sheet reconciliations, and the related control environment. Team management includes developing the future state organization structure to support growth and scale, prioritization of initiatives, hiring talent, development and retention for a team responsible for accurate and timely accounting and reporting, including controls execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source, hire, and oversee Accounting Shared Services in the HSC.
- Execute a roadmap to expand capabilities of Accounting Shared Services in the HSC.
- Drive engagement and behaviors that contribute to a OneInspire culture and successful adoption of new ways of working.
- High degree of familiarity and relationships within various functions, i.e. Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets Accounting, Lease Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Finance Ops and FP&A, Internal Audit, IT, and Financial Systems.
- Develop and lead high-performing teams including partnering with cross functional teams, multiple systems, and vendors successfully.
- Ability to make decisions and provide insight and points of contact as needed; build a network of supporters to get work done.
- Adept at engaging various levels of leadership and messaging in a way that instills action and sustained commitment.
- Serve as a hands-on leader. Co-develop, create, update, and/or review detailed approaches to address most critical impacts or points of resistance. Planning documents include stakeholder engagement or communication schedules, pilot implementation plans, communication materials, leader action plans, etc.
- Engage across the OneInspire network for help at specific sites or in other departments (i.e. HR, corporate communications, etc.) to deliver upon recommended communications, events, etc.
- Engage routinely with senior leaders across Inspire. Develop trusted coaching relationships.
- Ensure accounting and reconciliation of accounting entries, balance sheet, and transactions are executed timely and accurately.
- Responsible for managing, monitoring, and streamlining of the monthly and quarterly close process to ensure the process is efficient and effective in providing accurate and timely financial information and related reports.
- Communicate effectively across the organization regarding business and accounting issues and policies and procedures to ensure accurate accounting in accordance with GAAP.
- Be a leader in identifying and implementing inter and intra department process improvements and enhancements, with a focus on building a global, scalable accounting organization. Foster an environment of continuous improvement within and among other departments concerning the accuracy of all transactions entered to the general ledger and all information provided to Management.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of total experience, minimum.
- 5-6 years of experience in an Accounting Shared Services function
- Experience managing large teams with interdependent processes
- Direct experience building a global accounting delivery model, including onboarding new processes and capabilities
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES:
- High-level of organizational awareness, end-to-end process knowledge, and previous experience with transformation in multi brand, global, public company environments.
- Strong leader that connects people and engages with focus and empathy. Experience in influencing others in to focus on high-priority behaviors (i.e. ones that demonstrate more proactivity toward quality)
- Demonstrated success managing diverse teams (ranging in size and location); with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Adapt to new projects quickly with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud a plus and/or system implementations or upgrades.
- Ability to plan work effectively, supervise and coordinate the work of the team, meet the deadlines assigned, and make sound decisions.
- Self-sufficient and dependable and strong ability to multi-task and shift priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability including US GAAP
- Highly proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word in a Windows environment.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES:
- Experience with Oracle or other major ERP systems
