Senior Accountant

We are looking for an Sr. Accountant to join our lease and commission team in Noida. This is an amazing opportunity to work on a centralized process.

About You - Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

• At least 3 years’ experience with B.Com. graduation/MBA Finance/ CA/ CA-Inter (accounting background must).
• Experience in Lease Accounting.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices and principles
• Good exposure in prepaid/accrual reconciliations process and clearing reconciling items along with month-end accounting/reporting activities.
• Candidate should be ready to take up any General Accounting Function role including Prepaids & Accruals process, Lease & Commission as per needs.
• Internal control and SOX compliance/audit.
• Advanced computer literacy in M.S. Office products, especially in MS Excel (MUST to have)
• Expertise in IFRS/USGAAP is preferred.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Identify and analyze mismatches and clear all open balances.
• Perform and review commission reconciliations after month-end closing to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Review and post correction entries and reclass entries identified during balance sheet reconciliation exercises.
• Prepare and review all monthly closure commission accounting entries.
• Liaise with controllers and other departments to solve accounting day to day issues.
• Mentor, provide training to new hires on the Clarivate group policies and procedures to be followed for performing commission activities
• Any additional tasks assigned per process requirement from time to time need to be completed as per the assigned timeline and support Manager

About The Team

The lease and commission team plays a vital role in Centralize Accounting Function in all regions.

We have a great team of self-driven colleagues who perform reconciliations on non-month closure and month closure activities (journal entries/reporting) for lease and commission. The team currently consists of 3 members.

Hours of Work

• The regular working hours are 12:00 PM IST to 09: 00 PM IST
• Ready to be flexible to work on extra hours as per business/process requirement
