What You’ll Do Here:
- Leadership and Oversight:
- Lead the Accounts Payable (AP) and Expense Reporting team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Act as a primary point of contact for AP and expense-related inquiries, both internally and externally.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize AP and expense management processes.

- Accounts Payable Management:
- Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor management.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all AP transactions, maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
- Perform regular reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Develop and maintain AP policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor management.
- Expense Reporting Management:
- Manage the expense reporting function, ensuring employee reimbursements are processed promptly and in accordance with company policies.
- Review and approve expense reports, ensuring compliance with internal controls and policy adherence.
- Provide guidance to employees on expense reporting processes and policy requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the expense reporting process.
- Manage the expense reporting function, ensuring employee reimbursements are processed promptly and in accordance with company policies.
- Journal Entries:
- Assist with booking related journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with company policies and accounting standards.

- Ensure all AP and expense reporting activities comply with company policies, financial regulations, and audit requirements.
- Prepare and provide documentation for internal and external audits, addressing any findings or recommendations.

- Generate and analyze reports related to accounts payable and expense reimbursements to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.

Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in accounts payable and expense management, with 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Extensive experience with NetSuite and Expensify for managing accounts payable and expense reporting functions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, AP processes, expense management practices, and US GAAP.
- Accounting credentials (such as a Chartered Accountant or CPA) are a plus, but not required.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong attention to detail.
- Intellectual curiosity, self-starter, and solutions oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a global or multinational company.
- Advanced knowledge of expense policies and regulatory requirements.
