Function Description:
This position is for the US Regulatory Reporting team and will primarily be responsible for preparation and filling of US Fed reports like FRY9LP, TIC B, D, SLT, FFIEC009 and other reports and report into Director - US Regulatory Reporting.
Purpose of the Role:
The candidate will be required to prepare and file the US Regulatory Reports to the regulators like Federal Reserve. He will also be required to have a strong control and compliance mindset and be able to implement controls in new reports and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparation, review & filling of US Fed reports
- Understand regulatory reporting requirements and apply/implement the same to the reports
- Lead the PRSA process- Analyzing new processes, understanding control requirements and collaborating with stakeholders to set up and test controls
- Responsible for leading critical business initiatives and other initiatives identified by leadership to transform current processes
- Lead, engage & motivate high performing team
- Ensure defined controls are operating as expected and identify any gaps in controls
- Ability to manage competing priorities with eye for details
- Strong analytical skills, self-motivated & go-getter
- Multi-tasking with strong analytical skills
- Accurate and timely filing to regulators
- Timely completion of governance and control activities
- Understanding the impact of various business initiatives on regulatory reports
Experience:
- US GAAP knowledge & experience
- Control and compliance experience and Regulatory/ external reporting experience is preferable
Academic Background:
- CA/CPA with 5-7 years of relevant experience/ M.Com with relevant experience
Knowledge of Platforms:
- Oracle, Essbase, HFM
- R2CE architecture (preferred)
