Position Summary

This position is responsible for assuring that the processes within the facility are defined, measured and in-control with respect to actual performances thereby improving the economics of the process.

Responsibilities / Responsabilidades:
  • Reduce variation in product quality, achieve more consistent production, and maximize yield
  • Enhance operator productivity, reduce waste and optimize efficiency
  • Assure Process Control Standards meet expectations
  • Follow all work safety policies and guidelines ensuring process and product safety
  • Observe equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns
  • Adhere to and assure compliance with all USDA, GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) and Safety/Food Safety procedures, standards and guidelines
  • Monitor testing and development of products
  • Train/retrain hourly team members as needed, including when developing new processes and products
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities / Conocimiento y Habilidades
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Familiar with SPC, HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs and USDA Regulations
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Mathematical skills - Algebra/Statistics
  • Must be willing and able to perform physical requirement of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English required
