Description -
Job Summary
• This role is responsible for managing a team of individual contributors and/or supervisors to ensure accurate and timely work is executed. The role is accountable for the results of critical plans in terms of Process and people management. The role leads the development of process controls, workflow management and managing stakeholders, collaborates with leadership, and oversees talent management responsibilities, including recruitment and career development. The role also acts as a subject matter expert, recommending process improvements and policy development in alignment with business strategy.
Responsibilities
• Manages a team of exempt individual contributors and/or supervisors to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the WW process within FGO.
• Leads the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term process effectiveness including deep insights and analytics and the identification of operational or cost efficiencies.
• Leads the data driven metrics and decision-making for a global sub-business or finance function, with fairness and consistency, ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Reviews and analyses the key controls within the financial process to ensure compliance with relevant legal and accounting requirements.
• Collaborates with leadership to influence the future direction of the respective segment and align business and finance strategy to generate sustainable, profitable growth.
• Creates an annual financial operating plan that is aligned to the strategic plan and performs forecasting of business results including building, reviewing, and maintaining process maps.
• Ensures proper tools and resources are in place to support all operational activities of the department.
• Interacts frequently with senior management to communicate project status and escalate issues, as necessary.
• Acts as subject matter expert, identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy.
• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.

Education & Experience Recommended
- 5-8 years of experience in AP, AR, or Accounting
- Should be CA/CMA qualified
- Should have experience in team management and Global Operations
