What you’ll bring to the role:

Strong academic background including a Graduation in Commerce, specialization in Financial Accounting
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent specialization in Finance preferred.

What you’ll do in the role:

As a controller you will be a member of the Product controller team supporting the Businesses. The team is responsible for the daily validation, substantiation and reporting of P&L, weekly and monthly reporting and providing analysis to support the Business and senior Finance management. This role requires an individual to work closely with colleagues across the global Finance Organization, Operations, and Business.

More specifically the successful candidate will:
• Be responsible for the validation and substantiation of P&L between the Risk and the reporting system performed by the team.
• Responsible for people management within the team
• Ensure daily distribution of P&L reports to the business unit and finance managers for review.
• Understand the businesses supported including the strategy, products and inherent risks.
• Review the control environment and constantly try to enhance them.
• Escalate issues in a timely manner to management.
• Be part of Finance related projects, process enhancements, UAT testing etc.
