SUMMARY OF JOB: The Senior Director, Lifecare Finance reports to the Redeemer Health Vice President of Finance, Lifecare . The role requires knowledge of the general ledger and preparation of the financial statements of for all of the Lifecare entities. The Senior Director will oversee reporting of financial and statistical information for the Lifecare entities as compared to budget and ensure integrity of this data. Will maintain analyses to audit the data integrity of the Lifecare entities financial information and report opportunities for improvement to the respective Redeemer Health employees and facilitate desired outcome. Will work with Lifecare leaders to support and manage the development, preparation and coordination of the annual operating and capital budget for the respective entities. The Senior Director will also be responsible to work directly with the Lifecare Business Office regarding billing and receivable activity and Point Click Care (PCC) IT functionality.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
  • Four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with MBA/CPA/CMA/ FHFM preferred.
  • Seven to ten years minimum experience in a healthcare facility with knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Medicare, Medicaid regulations ( Lifecare related) and other reimbursement methodologies along with experience in general ledger and cost accounting methodologies, and budgeting systems.
  • Knowledgeable of a forecasting /planning process for annual budgets as well as quarterly forecasting.
  • Experience dealing with senior management, as well as interacting with other system-wide employees outside of one's individual department, with particular emphasis on interaction with the Lifecare finance & department operational managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks & responsibilities concurrently, as well as meeting deadlines while documenting work flows clearly & precisely.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral as well as analytical skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Technology Requirements: Knowledge of personal computers and most current versions of Excel, Word & other Microsoft Office applications required. Knowledge of Point Click Care and PeopleSoft is preferred but not required.
  • Individual will be required to assume other duties as assigned.
