Job Description:
Summary:
Manager, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) is responsible for providing operational oversight of procurement operations processing, compliance, and problem solving of various types relating to procure-to-pay transactions including requisitions, purchase orders and payment requests. Will also be responsible for managing T & E processing in compliance with the company policy.
Will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our business partners to ensure all financial and systems controls are met. Maintain service delivery and quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Partnership and relationship management with US stakeholders.
- Driving and creating a culture of process excellence and constantly moving towards a best-in-class P2P shared services team.
- Help build and manage a high performing Procure to Pay team that can be scaled to support organic and acquisition growth.
- Mentoring team members and growing 2nd and 3rd line leaders.
- Manage the AP team to support standard AP processes such as invoice processing and payment, processing, Card processing, accruals, customer rebates, expense report review, 1099 processing, sub-ledger close / reconciliation, exception management.
- Manage the Procurement team to support standard procurement processes including, requisition review (all spend categories) and approval, contracts creation, item creation, invoice discrepancies, supplier set-up and maintenance
- Ensure that enterprise P2P objectives are shared and become part of the objectives for the India-based team.
- Function as a business partner to operational leaders, including Sourcing/Purchasing, Treasury, General Ledger and other key stakeholders across the Company.
- Manage process improvements in the procure-to-pay process (i.e., optimize the end-to-end process).
- Establish key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure shared services performance and use them as a basis for identifying and managing end-to-end procure-to-pay process improvement opportunities.
- Maintaining operating discipline in terms of capacity utilization, SLA adherence and reporting, KPI tracking and reporting, etc.
- Help drive use of automation in P2P processes. Maintain and expand reporting and analytics capabilities using tools such as Oracle Financial Data Intelligence (FDI) etc.
- Maintain controls and adherence to policy and support various internal and external audits
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting, analytics and audits.
- Ensure proper SOD in place for process control.
- Ensure teams are cross trained in process and Business Continuity Plan in place.
- Maintain and interpret corporate travel policy.
- Resolve service disputes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with CA/MBA.
Strong presentation skills
13+ years' experience managing P2P systems, processes, and teams.
Experience in GCC/3rd Party is mandatory
Has experience in transitioning work from other countries to India.
Experience in managing S2P/P2P process for India (preferable).
Should be a self-starter, collaborative and have the ability to challenge the status quo.
Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud eProcurement and Financial Analytics Warehouse (FAW) preferred.
Strong functional systems and business process acumen
Strong proficiency in enforcing financial and accounting controls.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Curiosity and a passion for process improvement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
